As part of the activities of “Ca Mau Cape Culture – Tourism Week 2019”, on the evening of December 6, the Department of Industry and Trade collaborated with the institutions to organize the opening ceremony of Ca Mau Trade and Tourism Fair year 2019. Chairman of Provincial People’s Council Tran Van Hien and Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Lam Van Bi also attended.
Representatives of provincial and industry leaders performed the opening ceremony of Ca Mau Trade and Tourism Fair in 2019 – Shopping and promoting Vietnamese and Thai products.
Taking place from 6th to 15th of December at Thanh Nien Square (Ward 5, Ca Mau City), Ca Mau Trade – Tourism Fair 2019 – Shopping and promotion of Vietnam – Thailand products brought together 250 enterprises with over 500 departments displaying many high quality products from domestic and foreign manufacturers.
Participating in this activity was also department of Trat province (Thailand) and departments displaying tourism products of Mekong Delta provinces and cities.

This was also an opportunity to promote trade, connecting trade between Ca Mau and TP. Ho Chi Minh; promote culture and tourism, especially for food.
The highlight at this Fair was Ca Mau introducing visitors to Ca Mau Crab specialties with 25 attractive processed dishes. In particular, the pan of crab roasted with tamarind taking place at the Fair is expected to be recorded by the Vietnamese Record Organization as the largest tamarind crab pan in Vietnam.
The first day, the Fair attracted a large number of people to visit, shop, enjoy food and entertainment.
In addition, every night at the Fair, there were lots of entertainment activities with the participation of performers serving the audience of famous singers and artists from Ho Chi Minh City.
